Max started his Archery journey aged 9 and was selected to join the AGB Performance Pathway just 2 years later.
He made his International Youth Debut in 2022 and went onto win a Team Bronze and Mixed Team Bronze at the European Youth Cup in Switzerland in 2023.
In 2024, aged 16, Max qualified to take part in the Paris Olympics Team selection shoot, finishing in 6th place, made his International Debut for the Senior GB team and won his first European Youth Individual medal achieving Gold at the European Youth Cup in Romania. He was also part of the Mens team at this event bringing home a Silver medal too.
At the indoor Nationals this year Max finished in 4th place in the Tru Ball Axcel Back 2 Back and for the second year in a row ranked #1 in the UK Junior National Rankings.
